I am an artist who lives in Santa Rosa County, Florida. My family is originally from Washington County, Alabama. My heritage is Native American, French, Irish and Welsh.

I never strayed far from the Gulf Coast of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida,

I taught environmental education, incorporating Choctaw stories I was told as a child. My family was always in the woods or on the water. I paint and draw images that represent beauty in the natural environment as well as the local culture. Many of these places and people have disappeared. I paint them so they will be remembered.
