I loved the old double shot gun house I was renting. It was located on Highway 90 outside of Milton, Florida. The property was being sold as commercial property. The owners were in a quandary — their grandfather had built the house and they didn’t want it torn down. They offered to let me buy it if I would move it.  I put it in the middle of a 10 acre field I owned. It looked pretty desolate! I spent the next 17 years restoring the land and house. Over 20,000 trees have been planted during that time. I documented the process and do restoration presentations as well as native plant landscape consulting.
